2003 Harley-Davidson XLH883 100th Anniversary - Price: 4500.00 in Medford, Indiana

 
This xxxx H-D Sportster in Gunmetal Blue metallic was purchased in April '04 with 3,690 miles on it. I put approximately 200 miles on it before I left for the Middle East. The motorcycle was prepared for storage (battery removed, fluids drained) and has been kept in a indoor climate controlled storage facility since then. A move from the country roads of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado to the city streets of Boston necessitates the sale of this low milage Sportster.
 
The only marks are some rash scrapes on the exhaust (see close-up photos). It has been modified with the duck tail rear fender, crash bars, tach option and it was lowered even more to fit my 5'-5" height. Other adds are an H-D gas cap, removable sissy bar (mounted on detachable side plate kit) with luggage rack and back pad (also has the 100th anniversary emblem). Two seats are included, a solo and double. A luggage rack for the single seat is also included. Also included is a touring back pack that slips on the back of the backrest, also included is a small barrel bag that mounts the same way (see pictures) a canvass bag and padlock. The bags have never been used and the original price tag is still on it! Also included is a H-D indoor motorcycle cover. 
 
This is a great opportunity to get a Sportster with the option to go solo or bring a passenger for a day ride or weekend trip-it will be ready to go. ALSO - before the bike is shipped I will have the major 5,000 mile full service work done, which includes replacing all fluids, clutch, brake adjustment and a new battery will be installed (over $500 for this work). The 4,000 miles as stated is an approximate milage amount since there is no battery on the bike now and I'm not exactly sure what the exact milage was when it went into storage. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I will also include the original suspension parts that were taken off. Reasonable offers will also be considered.
